Creative ThinkTanks

As part of the CC+Me program of research, we facilitated regular Creative Think Tanks. In the Think Tanks, the project team worked closely with the co-researchers to analyse and curate all the data generated throughout the original CC + Me Project. The aim of these workshops was to create a series of collaborative artworks.  An example of such artworks is the the Past Now Future travelling exhibition. The students went through the thousands of photos that had been generated, and selected the ones which spoke to them most about climate change. They wrote messages on the backs of the photos, which were transferred into wax in a second Think Tank workshop. They also reviewed all of the video interviews that had been produced over the course of the project, and evaluated them against a series of research criteria. In addition, the students engaged with creative research practices through poetry, stories, drawings and future imaginings. The Past Now Future exhibition was visited by over 10,000 community members.
